Why do we do what we do?

Why am I promoting individual liberty? Why do I donate my time to manage www.truthradio.com? Why do I favor limited governmental powers?

Thank the Internal Revenue Service.

Decades ago when I was the struggling manager of a money-losing FM radio station in Delano, California, earning only $300 monthly to support a family of five children, an IRS auditor came to visit. He was so nasty, so rude, so belligerent in his closed-minded refusal to listen, that my associate came very close to socking him in the jaw. He determined that I should pay $24,000 in so-called “back taxes” representing money I had never seen. In spite of hearings and appeals, that debt was finally paid. Not by me. I did not have the money. My eldest son paid the so-called debt.

Imagine how that made me feel.

Thanks to that IRS auditor, who later was promoted to be the chief of the IRS in its Bakersfield, California office, I began to study government regulations, the law, the judiciary and how our government violates Constitutional and Biblical values on a consistent basis.

If the leaders of the IRS want us to cooperate with them why do they instruct their employees to do everything they can to get us to fight the evil they represent? Is it because they lack intelligence? No. It is because the top people in government agencies follow a distant drummer, a powerful unseen force with an agenda for the world. What is that force?

Who is beating these distant drums? My view of these agenda makers is that they are less organized that some observers believe. We know of the power of International Bankers, and the owners of the Central Banks of the world have agendas. Many agendas. We have heard of the “Committee of 300,” and they are a very real group of philosophical leaders with an agenda. The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank have a job description that impacts how governments work. The Masonic Lodge, the Black Pope and the Jesuits and other secret societies like “Skull and Bones” use their powers to influence world affairs. The Tri-lateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderbergers, Italian Mafia, Industrial leaders, “Hollywood” and other groups all have a vision for the world, and they are working daily to influence governmental regulators to move society in the direction of their dreams.

These groups impose their will from time to time upon the CIA, FBI, the Governors of the Federal Reserve, the IRS, Congress and any politician and government agencies around the world who will listen and take favors from them. However, they have a problem. Without coordination, their various messages would cancel out each other. Pitting their voices against legitimate political action committees, the media, alternate media and the wishy-washy “will of the people,” these powerful people could just be wasting their time trying to change the world. However, they have an ally who coordinates their evil efforts with a skill beyond the reach of any human. The Bible makes it clear in Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” These unified principalities and powers are under the control of Satan. It is his power we oppose here at Truth Radio.

Humanly speaking, with all our work, Truth Radio cannot win. Why? Because if we do win, if we succeed in bringing back our government under Constitutional limits, nobody will notice that we had anything to do with it. We would lose – lose credit, that is. Our job is like the job of a janitor. When we do well, we are not noticed. As far as the general public is concerned they won't notice we are here -- not unless we let the dust of the ages pile up in the corners of society and do nothing about it.

On the other hand, if the trends of the day continue, we will LOSE, all of us, big time.

So, we do not work motivated to receive the ultimate “pat on the back,” because that will never come. However, there is a greater victory we can all look forward to. Colossians 2:14 announces, “[Our Redeemer blots] out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; :15 [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you.”

As long as our Creator is in control, the victory will be His. Our job is to do our job: to stand for truth, to speak out for fairness and justice, and to hold up the values clearly explained in the Bible, pointing out to any mis-lead government bureaucrat that he should take off his blinders, bow to the Lord and get a job in the private sector equal to his intelligence.

We do not work to win; we work because we have won!
