Congress has launched a new study on "tax reform."
After learning we could send suggestions for tax reform to comments@taxreformpanel.gov this is what I wrote with a few changes: Will Congress succeed this time where Billy Tauzen and Dick Army failed? I hope so -- This recommendation was developed as the result of personal talks with Senators Joe Biden, (then-Senator) Howard Baker and economists in the Central Banks of Europe and Scandinavia. When money is not backed by gold and silver, it can be created by writing checks against Congressionally authorized overdrawn checking accounts. Today's money has value because it has the power to purchase the goods and services society creates. One of the jobs of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve is to balance money creation against GNP and GDP. When a good or service is created, the Treasury/Fed monetary power needs to effect policies that create enough currency to allow those goods or services to be purchased. So, government can be supported without any tax revenue at all. Instead, create a formula for government spending that will balance the checks written to support government against the GDP domestically and the checks written for out of country needs against the GNP. Promote the GDP and GNP figures (reshaping the Department of Commerce formula to reflect private sector forces only) then report the amount spent to support government both domestically and internationally. If there is too much currency created by this method, prices will rise to counteract this inflationary trend. If there is (ha ha) too little money created for the support of government, prices eventually will diminish. HOWEVER -- THE ABOVE STATED PLAN WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTED BY THOSE IN POWER BECAUSE THE POWER TO INFLICT MISERY THROUGH TAXATION IS THE POWER TO CONTROL: and every good Congressman knows he has been put in office to do favors for special interests, to control the populace -- not to serve the people. That's what I wrote. Now, if you want to learn more about this plan, drop me a line and ask for "Tax money, not people" a more complete explanation of this plan. -- Richard Palmquist Send email to frontoffice@truthradio.info with questions or comments about this subject. |
